Laboratory Process 
SpiraBrush CX histological tissue samples are formed into cell pellets, sectioned, and placed on slides in a manner not dissimilar to ECC samples. The pathologist evaluates the slides using traditional histological diagnostic metrics, and provides the clinician with the usual biopsy report: CIN I, CIN II, CIN III, CIS, etc. As you can see in the photomicrographs below, diagnostic tissue collected with SpiraBrush CX looks very similar to the sample collected by a traditional punch forceps.
